The Society was founded in 1957 to promote interest in the local history of Huntingdonshire and throughout the year provides a programme of lectures, events, excursions and publications.

Lectures: During the Autumn and Spring period the Society usually meets once per month in the Methodist Church, High Street Huntingdon when we provide talks on a wide variety of subjects all related to the history of Huntingdonshire. These talks are free to members and we welcome guests and non members at no charge but we do ask for a small donation of £3 per person for each talk.
