GOODLIFF AND FAMILY HISTORY AWARDS 2026<\/h1>\r\n

The Society is now accepting applications for Goodliff and Family History Awards for 2026. <\/p>\r\n

\"\"<\/a>Do you need help to complete a local history project? The Society, through the Goodliff Award Scheme, can provide funding to individuals, societies, schools and groups who need support for a project, research, publication or for the preservation of the heritage of Huntingdonshire.<\/p>\r\n

Funding may be given towards publication cost for books, leaflets or display panels; the purchase of equipment; conservation or purchase of artifacts or documents etc.<\/p>\r\n

\"winter\"<\/a>Lectures: <\/strong>The Society organises lectures on a monthly basis throughout the winter months. Lectures are generally linked to Huntingdonshire history with subjects that range from archaeology to aviation.<\/span><\/div>\r\n

Excursions: <\/strong>The Society organises evening or day excursions to local places of historical interest during the summer month, those that are further afield by full \u2013day coach trips. A weekend excursion is organised in May.<\/div>\r\n

Goodliff Awards: \"\"<\/a><\/strong>Each year the Society makes awards to projects supporting the preservation of the history of Huntingdonshire.<\/div>\r\n

Publications: <\/strong>Our journal, Records of Huntingdonshire, contains short articles of high quality on all aspects of Huntingdonshire History. Twice a year we publish the Almanack with information about Society activities.<\/div>\r\n
