This may seem a long time ago\, but the amount of work b eing carried out by the Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA) team on the po st-excavation phase continues as they identify\, assess\, catalogue and pr eserve a huge number of finds and discoveries. What has been unearthed has rewritten some of our previous understanding of Bronze and Iron Age\, Rom an and Saxon life in the Great Ouze area and the land south of Fen Stanton \, Godmanchester\, Offord\, Buckden and Brampton. \nWe have arranged for e xperts from MOLA to come an tell us about the ‘small finds’ and to lead us in a workshop of discovery on them. The afternoon will begin with a Power point presentation\, which will be open to all\, and will be followed by a workshop for a discrete number only.
