Ordance Survey Maps for the Local Historian – Huntingdonshire Archives

The Ordnance Survey is an invaluable tool for local history of all kinds, whether family history, history of a house or other building, landscape agriculture or industry. It also provides the base map for many other kinds of record. In this evenings talk, Dr Philip Saunders, Chairman of the Huntingdonshire Local History Society, will aim to look at what is now available on-line, and on the following afternoon (11th Febraury) we visit the Huntingdonshire Archives to explore some of maps and records they hold.

The Zoom talk is free to anyone to attend. Details of how to access the Zoom talk wll be sent to all memers a few days beforehand. Non members who wish to listen to the talk, please contact David Smith by email to info@huntslhs.org.uk to book your place.
